N.I.G is a socio-cultural and the umbrella organisation of all Igbo associations in Germany

I.C.O Rheinland-Pfalz Hessen e.V

The Igbo Cultural Organisation Rheinland-Pfalz Hessen e.V. aims at seeking and protecting the welfare and interest of its members.  

The Objectives are:

  • To improve the social, cultural and economic relation between Igbos and Germans as well as promoting the status of Nigeria and Germany in the international community
  • To promote the advancement of knowledge and mutual understanding among the peoples of Nigeria and Germany
  • To assist in providing modern amenities such as health centres and clinics, youth centres, launching of programmes, and projects, aimed at raising funds for the running of the organisation
  • Support for and developing youth programs that will direct the youths of our countries on how to live a better and healthier life
  • To set up agencies/programs to ensure that children who are our primary target, have adequate clothing, shelter and food
  • To further strengthen the already strong, socio-economic and political ties that exist between Nigeria and the Federal Republic of Germany
